Screenings for schools

Without Prejudice is a socio-cultural event that offers schools a unique form of after-school education in a morning programme. Pupils are introduced to seven key themes of contemporary society through seven themed screenings. Each theme is introduced with a film to put the pupils in context. The issue is then developed through a discussion involving both pupils and invited experts on the topic. The aim of Without Prejudice is to create a safe space for discussion and to step out of one’s own opinion bubble. It is through the encounter with other opinions that an inner monologue can subsequently form, through which the individual can better understand other people and themselves.

And how is our festival beneficial for teenagers? Through the different thematic blocks, carefully selected films and guests, pupils can take away many useful knowledge and skills in an entertaining way. Above all, this newly acquired knowledge is highly useful in everyday life.
